  • Sometimes I’m really busy, staring blankly at the wall for several hours 🤣 Haha but seriously. My brain requires a significant amount of alone time in order for me to hear that which is only whispered into my consciousness. And if I don’t give myself that space... “the walls come tumblin’ down. When the walls come crumblin’ crumblin’.” Umm that’s a song. But seriously, I totally fall apart. My point is that we all need to figure out what we need for emotional stability and then it’s our responsibility to make sure we adhere to such standards. - For me, it’s about alone time, meditation, journaling, working out, taking walks, opening up to people who understand me... - And sometimes I have to fight really freaking hard to draw boundaries around these things.   • 2010 -> 2017 -> 2019 😜 Each picture represents a totally different set of goals. In the beginning, I just wanted to be skinny. Then I wanted abs. And since then, I’ve been working towards size on my glutes and legs. 💪 But I want to make something clear... at no point did taking control of my body, change the way I felt inside. At no point did I wake up a miraculously secure human being because I had nice muscles. At no point did it change the amount of work I needed to do on the person I am inside these walls. Fitness is not the answer.
